Personal Distributed Environment in the Context of Reconfigurability

This contribution to WWRF WG6 addresses Personal Distributed Environments in the context of reconfigurability. An introduction to this relatively new concept is given including a brief history, and a description of a possible PDE architecture along with consideration of its constituent components mentioning specifically the use of a Device Management Entity and configuration/reconfiguration algorithms. The paper moves on to consider Location Privacy before moving on to the conclusion in terms of Recent Developments of work within the Mobile VCE.
